Is the game free?
Yes. Gaffa XI is free to play with no energy bar or wait timers. Free players get 5 drafts a day, plus one more for each advert they choose to watch; the Daily XI and Duels never count. Gaffa Pro (optional subscription) gives unlimited drafts and removes adverts. Reroll packs are optional one-off purchases. Everything is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete my data. This permanently removes your profile, display name, stats and results from our server and clears the game's local data on your device. It cannot be undone. If you would rather we do it, email legal@gaffaxi.com from the device you play on, since accounts are anonymous and we have no other way to identify yours.
Do I need an account?
No sign-up. The app creates an anonymous account the first time it needs to save a result, so your Daily XI scores and duels can be compared with others. You choose a display name; nothing else is required.
I bought Gaffa Pro or rerolls but don't have them
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still doesn't work, email us with your App Store receipt.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple too: visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
A duel link doesn't open the app
Make sure Gaffa XI is installed and up to date, then open the link again. You can also type the six-character code by hand under Duels in the app.
A player's rating, club or season looks wrong
Squad and season data come from public sources (Wikidata, Wikipedia and openfootball) and are updated in app releases. Tell us at hello@gaffaxi.com and we will check it.
Why do I see adverts, and are they personalised?
The free version shows optional rewarded adverts (watch one for an extra reroll or draft) and a short advert after some seasons, never during a draft. Gaffa Pro removes all adverts. On first launch the app asks for your consent; if you decline, you still get the full game with non-personalised adverts. You can change this any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does it work on iPad?
Gaffa XI is made for iPhone. It runs on iPad in iPhone mode.
