What is the Premier League draft game?

Gaffa XI is a free Premier League draft game where you build your all-time Premier League XI one pick at a time. The wheel spins to land on a real English top-flight club from a specific season — anything from Blackburn 1994/95 to City 2025/26 — and you draft one player from that exact squad. Eleven spins later your XI is named, and you can simulate a full 38-game season to see whether they'd survive the league of legends.

How to play

  1. Spin. A random English top-flight club + season — e.g. Newcastle 1995/96, Liverpool 2018/19.
  2. Draft. Pick one player from that squad. They slot into your XI in their strongest position.
  3. Repeat ×11. Each pick locks a position. No two players from the same club-season.
  4. Simulate. Play a full 38-game season against the league of legends. Lift the title if you can.

Every English top-flight club from 1992/93 to today — 46 clubs across 30+ seasons and 14,500+ player seasons. Cantona's United, Henry's Arsenal, Rooney's Everton, Suárez's Liverpool, Haaland's City, plus the Blackburns and Leicesters who nicked a title along the way.
Can I pick multiple players from the same club?
From the same club yes, from the same club-season no. If the wheel lands on 2003/04 Arsenal you take one Invincible, and that exact squad is locked. Roll it again in a later season and you can pick another Gunner.
Do I need to sign up?
Not to play. Free in any browser, no account needed. Sign in only if you want to save your XIs and climb the leaderboard.
