A World Cup draft game lets you build your dream World Cup squad one pick at a time. In Gaffa XI you spin a wheel that lands on a real nation from a real World Cup since 1966 — Brazil 1970, Argentina 1986, France 1998, Spain 2010, all the way to World Cup 2026. From that squad you draft a single player into your XI, then spin again. Eleven picks later you've named your all-time team and can simulate a knockout tournament to see how far they go.
It's part squad builder, part nostalgia, part bar-room debate. The wheel decides which squads are on the table — your job is to find the legends inside them.
How the World Cup wheel works
- Spin. The wheel lands on a nation + World Cup combo (e.g. Italy 1982, Germany 2014).
- Draft. Pick one player from that exact squad. They slot into your XI in their best position.
- Repeat ×11. Spin and draft until keeper, defence, midfield and attack are all filled.
- Simulate. Your XI plays a group stage and knockout against the legends of every era. Lift the trophy if you can.
